Today in class, I had you create a Flickr.com account. Flickr is a photo community and photo sharing site. I had you set up your Flickr account to allow for email/MMS uploading. I also had you grant Flickr access to your blog then generate a different email address that will allow you to post directly to your blog (it will also post the image and message in your Flickr account). A number of you tested this out in class to verify that it works.
If you prefer, you can also blog using your mobile phone to your Blogger account using their system. Here is the link to set that up: http://www.blogger.com/mobile-start.g
The only real advantage I can see of doing it that way is that it allows you to blog using simple text messaging (SMS) as opposed to multimedia messages (MMS) for which you may have to pay a small fee.
For homework, you are to upload the images that you shot for the Urban Landscape series to your Flickr account. Then, you are to use Picnik.com to edit all the images and save them back to Flickr. From Flickr, you are to send your 5 favorite images to your blog. Please include an explanation as to why they are your favorite.
Please bring in a music CD so that you can rip it to MP3 for use with a video presentation of your Urban Landscape project which we will be creating on Wednesday.
